Marc Thomas was born in Southern California. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and returned to Orange County to attend law school at Chapman University School of Law (now known as the Dale E. Fowler School of Law). During law school, Marc completed an internship with the Honorable Luis Rodriguez of the Orange County Superior Court, served as Senior Editor of the Chapman Journal of Criminal Justice, and was a three-time CALI award winner.
Since his admission to the California Bar in 2011, Marc has represented corporate and individual clients in a variety of real estate matters including mortgage, title, purchase/sale, and land-use litigation, as well as the organization and representation of commercial and residential common interest developments. He has successfully represented clients through appeals in State and Federal Courts.
Marc is admitted to practice in the State of California, the United States District Court – all California Districts – and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Marc represents publicly-traded companies, small businesses, and individuals in both an advisory capacity and in litigation, including issues concerning claims by and against competitors, employees, and consumers. Marc has successfully represented clients on both sides of anti-trust and unfair business practices claims, and is well-versed in matters involving contract disputes, negligence, business torts, and insurance claims.

Marc represents trustees, beneficiaries, and third-party claimants in trust and estate litigation, in both probate and civil courts. Such litigation tends to be very personal in nature.
